Oh lookie here! It managed to regain its composure and stare me down as I take more pictures of it. I was actually waiting for it to either fly away or jump on me. And yes, if you did not know, grasshoppers can fly, but only for a short amount of time before it lands. Apparently, when I told my friend this, she did not believe me, so I had to Google it for her.

Any way, yes, I am rather surprised it let me get this close to it.

It may appear scary, but it's actually rather gentle! It was probably more scared of me than I was of it, but not so much as it stayed so long.

Oh my, I bet you were glad to know that your bedroom was safe again after it was gone! x]

Yes, I thought it was scary too when the grasshopper started jumping around in the Ziploc Bag. It was actually quite hysterical after I thought about it. xD

Because my house is full of spiders and other bugs.. so I kind of get used to it. xD However, I'm not always comfortable approaching bugs!

Wow, that grasshopper is huge. My favorite thing to do with them is to just chase 'em, catch 'em, admire them then let them go. o3o I used to catch them and keep them, but not any more.
