Now for some analyzing..

In one interpretation, this could be rather symbolic. The sun's reflection could symbolize the police's pure intentions of protecting and serving the law.

In another interpretation, you could find this ironic because people with power are corrupted in one way or another. So as for the sun's reflection showing how "pure" the police are, would be funny actually, because they are on their way to abuse the law!

But putting all that aside, I swear this picture was taken by accident. I actually saw that big pile of water driving by, so I asked my dad to stop so I could take pictures. I took quite a few shots, and then I noticed how the sun's reflection appeared in the puddle, so I took that shot, and then a cop car just came flying by and happened to be in the shot! If I ever tried to take this picture intentionally, it would have never came out this way. This was pure luck.

I dunno. It's just a weird coincidence! But I am not complaining at all. C:

I was mainly focusing on getting the reflection in the puddle perfect which is why it fortunately turned out that way. :) Thanks again for adding it to your favorites.

When you mentioned irony I thought you were talking more about the adult book store in the background or the smog check. :P It's very balanced, I like it.

Very interesting. I was thinking that you would comment on the pink building with books from A to Z. And why are they called "adult" when the people who access such are so adolescent, etc. etc. But the irony of the pure intentions ripples through the whole scene, including the smog check sign, which is an endemic part of our region. Which is also to say, no, we are not in Kansas.
:iconhantsuki:
I think someone else thought I was going to say that too. I really never thought about it even though I noticed the sign. I do appreciate it when others can pick out stuff from my pictures that I haven't interpreted yet. I love having epiphanies like these!

I must say, it looks like this picture has a lot more interpretations than I first thought! Thanks for commenting. :)
